I can't believe he's still pursuing this. Doesn't he have anything else to do?

*sarcasm* Yes, Mr. Parker. I'm sure that you releasing a book with a crappy MS cover and only ONE review after 3 months will help you against Nickelodeon, let alone Viacom, one of the biggest media companies there is.

Yet, another whiny attempt at attention. I don't think this guy realizes nobody knew of his sponge creation. He said he was a struggling cartoonist. That means not many people even knew of his comic's exsistance. SpongeBob caught on because it was put on a big network, and has heart, charm, amazing writing, witty humor, and is a classic. Sorry this sponge comic didn't catch on, but he don't have to write a book about it and blame the wrong people for its failure!

Also by his logic Hillenburg is still in the right considering he also made a SpongeBob-like character long before SpongeBob premiered.

That is so sad lmao. I want to read that book just to see the stuff he makes up.
I second this, although I wouldn't be keen on actually buying it... the man doesn't need money (seems like he's wasting it for the lawyers and to publish this book). May still order a copy just to see what hopelessness that the contents reveal, though.

Honestly, I hate that the man didn't get what he wanted (I feel his pain), but I think trying to shift away from the claimed "stolen material" and create something new with the main idea still intact (perhaps a new character to replace Mr. Spongee and his buddies here, story could *possibly* remain as-is) would be the better route to take than to get yourself in worse reputation because of a mere coincidence. I know how he feels, but I'm not pulling lawsuits because of coincidental character design (although I seriously quizzed Viacom about it out of fear... I'm so happy that they still haven't responded).

(Also, where's the bit in "Help Wanted" that tells the story of SpongeBob getting fired from a soap factory? I'd like to be linked to that extended version, thanks in advance. <3)

He's such a phony that he doesn't even know that the correct phrase is
Liar liar plants for hire.
He's probably faking it.
"Hey dude u stole my idea from some crappy comic I sold in 1992 that no one even cares about."
