Inspired by my status this afternoon. My class was asked to write down something we learned this year, prompting one person to make a joke about, "What I learned in boating school is..." Everyone got the reference, and the moment was perfect. Have you ever had any Spongebob-related moments in school, at home, or elsewhere? Or, where has Spongebob shown up in your life unexpectedly?

Lol so a few days ago in math we were learning some trigonometry. To remember that sine is opposite/hypotenuse, cosine is adjacent/hypotenuse, and tangent is opposite/adjacent my teacher taught us SOHCAHTOA. Now that sounds like Krakatoa so my friends and I yelled "Krakatoa" as loud as we could.

Yep. I'm in the percussion section of our school band, and we have meetings every now and then, where every section gets together and practices songs. After our meeting before the concert, our director told us how to bow down properly and all that. He said, "Does anyone have any questions?" after that. One kid replied, "Is mayonnaise an instrument?" Believe or not, the director said afterwards, "No Patrick, mayonnaise is not an instrument." Everyone EXPLODED with laughter, it was just THAT good.

Back in September, I was wearing a green sweater and my best friend started to sing the Striped Sweater song.

Once in 8th grade, my History teacher wore a striped sweater so a bunch of my classmates sang the striped sweater song.
And in Drama class this year, while I was doing warmups with my feet, I said "Now it's time to bring it around town!", and some kids laughed.
And I sometimes say "(insert around of time) later" in a French accent if we have to wait for something.
In 7th grade, I yelled "Liar, Liar Plants for hire!" at my teacher, and my whole class laughed.

A few months ago, I made a comment when my Global 10 teacher asked if anyone recognized "Le Marseillaise" from anywhere, presumably in important events. I thought I recognized it from "Squid on Strike" so I brought it up and had the whole class laughing.

Everyday there is some sort of spongebob quote in my life :D , but one time i told my brother i was not going to quote SB for a whole day later that night he started singing the goofy goober song...i didn't make it past that day. The next day my mom, yup my mom was trying to quote the show (Christmas who?) She knew she wasn't saying it right and asked me for help...long story short i gave up on not quoting SB for a whole day

I just reached into a box of chocolates for a chocolate I forgot I already ate. It reminded me of Patrick forgetting he ate his lollipop in Life of Crime or whatever episode it was :P

When I was looking at the front and back cover on our school textbooks, and I saw someone say Squidward Smells... so I had to finish it with good.

I do the French narrator quote thing.

Unfortunately, SpongeBob does not come up often in my offline life.:-(
