I'm hearing rumors that my school will have school uniforms. I really hope they don't. If they do, i'm just gonna be coming to school wearing a t-shirt witch has a copy of the first amendment and jeans. I just don't want them. What do you think?

I don't really see why we need to make kids wear school uniforms as most people really don't care what kids wear, but if it happens, whatevs.

I mostly liked having uniforms. I never had to think about what to wear and it puts everybody on the same level because it's not really obvious if your parents can't afford expensive clothes.

I always wear uniform since kindergarten. I must say they're more convenience than problem. As DMAP pointed out you don't need to think about what to wear to school, and some stupid clothing related social contest wouldn't happen.

Oh yes. Forcing your students to pay for lunch is just cruelty. I'm seriously criminals get free food but students don't? What kind of nonsense is that? What if the student is poor, should they just starve and die?

Neutral. I spend six years without uniform and since then with uniform and I don't feel the difference. Casual clothes makes everybody more noticeable though.

I vote no, but I'm not going to say why because everyone else already did.

I wore school uniforms for years. It was nice because when you're busy getting ready for school every morning/night it gets bothersome to have to pick something different every single day. People don't have to think about it. I don't care either way, it's just nice to be able to focus on your work and not your wardrobe. But it is nice to wear things that make you unique. If you're like me you don't have free money to spend on clothes usually. I am neutral.

I understand if it is a private school, but public schools shouldn't have uniforms. How could you possibly express yourself by wearing the exact thing as everyone else? I do wear interesting clothes (long neon socks, fun earings…you know stuff like that) That's how some people seem to know me. I never had to wear a full-on uniform for school ( in Hawaii, we just had to wear school t-shirts). It does save you time in the morning, but I always check the weather and plan out my outfit the night before. Also, shopping for clothes would not be fun if you had to keep thinking: No one would see my wear this at school. School uniform would be a pain for me is what I am trying to say.

Every school has uniforms over here no exceptions so I had to wear one back then. At least in high school they would let you go in sneakers, compared to my previous school that only allowed shoes.
