Ah what the heck! I thought I'd fill this out and wait for y'all to throw tomatoes at me.
Favorite Character: Spongebob Squarepants
What's not to like? He's cute, sweet, creative, socially awkward, and musical!
Despised Character: "WHERE'S MY DRINK?"
The guy who made Spongebob cry in "Pizza Delivery." What a ::dolphin noise::ing dick.
Favorite Season: Season 1
This season seems so much more quiet than other seasons. The pacing is so much slower, the characters seemed a bit more innocent and happy, and... oh goodness, it's just so harmless and charming. I also love the wobbly, wiggly animation. There's not a malicious bone in this season's body.
Despised Season: Season 7

Most Overrated Character: Squidward
Here me out here. A lot of people feel sorry for Squidward and hold him up as some kind of saint, much like Lemongrab in the Adventure Time fandom. Here's the thing- Squidward's misery for the most part is his own fault. He's arrogant, rude, unimaginative, pretentious, and self-pitying. He brings so much of his misery upon himself!
Most Underrated Character: Patrick Star
A lot of people really hate Patrick, but I'm very fond of him. I think I like Patrick more now as an adult than I did as a kid. I want to give him a big hug.
Favorite Villain: Bubble Bass
This guy is ::dolphin noise::ing hilarious! His voice, his design, his whole motivation of just "being a jerk." He makes me laugh incredibly hard in any scene he's in, which unfortunately isn't very many scenes. Man, we need another Bubble Bass episode.
Despised Villain: Kevin the Sea Cucumber
I know that we're not supposed to like him. He's so smug, and he's such a bully. I'm glad he got scalped.
Favorite Song: Living In The Sunlight
I feel like this upbeat, cute number personifies the series very well. I'll also pick the end credits theme song for the same reason.
Despised Song: Teamwork (Sponge out of Water)
I hated this movie so SO much. Hard to believe that it gave us such a bland, uninspired, derivative song.
Favorite Episode: Help Wanted
It's kind of rare that a show's pilot is so incredibly good- the Spongebob pilot is SO well-done that it airs in regular circulation along with the other episodes. It's short, charming, funny, and pretty inspiring to those who are seeking their dream job. Nothing makes you want to root for Spongebob in quite the same way.
I'm also extremely fond of "Bubblestand," "Dying for Pie," "Walking Small," and "Pizza Delivery."
Despised Episode: The Great Snail Race
Take away all of Spongebob's niceness and replace it with pure spitefulness, replace all of his love for his pet with apathy, and replace most of the charming humor for body horror and disgusting animal cruelty.
Favorite Quote: "I'M READY!!!"
Perfect.
Despised Quote: all of the bad jokes in "Sponge out of Water"
seriously, ::dolphin noise:: this movie and its stupid cringeworthy jokes.
Most Overrated Episode: Band Geeks
The animation is pretty stiff, Spongebob's entire character is an afterthought, and Squidward really doesn't do anything to deserve that happy ending. He spent two seasons being a condescending whiny doofus to everyone, and now he expects everyone to perform for him so he can one-up his high school rival? Really?
Most Underrated Episode: Employee of the Month
Spongebob is normally such a sweet, bumbling little guy. Seeing him turn into such a canniving, smug, calculating schemer is interesting, to say the least. I like the debate at the beginning between Spongebob and Squidward on whether or not the award is valid or not. I like seeing Spongebob's somewhat unhealthy perfectionist tendencies surface. This episode was a pretty interesting glimpse into his obsessive, unhealthily driven psyche. I like seeing Squidward and Spongebob completely lose it near the end due to sleep deprivation. I also really enjoyed all of the constant banter between Spongebob and Squidward. I always thought of Squidward as Spongebob's surrogate big brother, so to speak- and seeing an episode about their rivalry was unexpected. This episode is funny, at times thought-provoking, and it shows a very different side to Spongebob than we're used to.
