I personally choose Spongebob's cowboy clothing from Pest of the West because it's more cute appropriate. His cowboy clothing from Bossy Boots is more stereotypical.

I personally choose Patrick's cowboy clothing from Just One Bite because he looks cooler and better. His cowboy clothing from Pest of the West looks more lazy.

SB's in Bossy Boos, 'cause I get a kick out of the square cowboy hat.
Pat's in Just One Bite for he reasons you mentioned. The second looks more farm boy than cowboy... like he needs a pitchfork, not spurs.

I voted for SpongeBob's in Bossy Boots because I like a lot of aspects of it better than the one from Pest of the West, mainly his square hat and the sheriff's badge. And as far as Patrick, I voted for Just One Bite, mainly because I love how his typical green and purple shorts were recolored to look more cowboy-like xD

The cowboy clothes from Bossy Boots and Just One Bite looks more streotypically cowboy. Although I must say the ones from from Pest of the West is actually more historically accurate.
