Do you think the movie will flop?

I have a feeling that despite the movie looking good, that it will flop at the box office and critically because the first SpongeBob movie didn't do too well and because not SpongeBob just isn't that popular anymore. What do you guys think?

I don't think it will flop but I also doubt it will endure exuberant success.

ehhh, i wouldn't think this movie will flop because it has huge hit since 1st movie so...it's not going to happen.

Spongebob is so well know I doubt it will fail. I think it'll do decent in the box office, like most family movies with a ton of commercials do. But I think it'll get mixed reviews criticaly. Especially with all of the biased people.

I just wanna clear up something, I'm not hating on the movie because I actually think it looks good, but I just want to know if you guys too think that the movie will do eh at the box office seeing as the first movie didn't do so well at the box office.

I think that this will do decently at the box office (probably higher than the first film). However, I'm still very worried about what the general critical status of the movie will be

I hope it does better than the first movie seeing as the first movie was almost a flop.

Here's a fun fact, box office success doesn't equal quality. If the people who DID see the movie enjoyed it, then you shouldn't give to craps if the gross is $10 million or $200 million.

And quality doesn't matter to studios. It all depends on the money.

Well to be honest, by how the 2nd movie is doing and the opinions on the people working on it, I think quality is put in just as much as monetary expectations if you want my basic opinion.

I just don't think people really know about the movie. I saw TMNT two times and they never showed the trailer for the new movie before it. That's awful marketing. If they keep this up, it'll fail.

That's weird, but still, it's not played everywhere and most people are unaware of the movie because Paramount has done a terrible job marketing the movie.

There's about seven months left till the movie comes out. I'm sure they'll advertise it a lot, stop being butthurt. #BuyAnaconda
