Now, this episode in my opinion is a rather interesting plot. It was a bit cliche, especially for a cartoon, but the characters they chose for this was comic gold. And let us not forget this episode is why SBRoxMan has the best avatar of all time. (Sorry PhilipB, or should I say SquidwardB) But anyways, I am totally CHANGING PLACES with my topic, eh. (BAD PUN) Okey, first let us discuss the characters. Plankton was at some of his best in the show in my opinion. Everything he did was a complete reflection of his personality, and of course, Plankton teleporting for his life to drink soda, or the "meatloaf". One thing I like is how when the transports happened, Plankton never actually changed his personality. Think about it, if Plankton were to teleport and completely change into Mr. Krabs, this show would be like normal, except the boss would be a scrawny and adorable midget. On the contrary, Plankton bringing back his "qualities" with him interested me when I saw how his and everyone else's lives changed. Yes, he did have some Mr. Krabs qualities, like giving Pearl one dollar, but I do think there is a deeper meaning to that, and it's not because of the Krab's personality. I feel with all the debt Plankton has, there actually was a reason why he was so pissy giving the dang dollar to Pearl outside the realm of cheapness. That's one attribute that I've always felt made Plankton his really cranky self. I bet if he was like Mr. Krabs in terms of success, he'd be 10x nicer than that cheap filthy crab, and that is the exact reason why I just hate to call Plankton an antagonist, because he is just troubled. And yes, if you asked me, I feel a lot of the characters on this show have deeper meanings to this, and as you will notice, I will start pointing out these deeper meanings once I officially continue this list in the summer. Keep a lookout for that. ;) I do think that's enough about Plankton, so we shall talk about some other characters. One thing I found EXTREMELY odd is how SpongeBob was extremely OCD about everything. Think about this for a change. When Mr. Krabs was the boss, he was a cheap arsehole for sure, but I feel he was also a helpful figure to SpongeBob and acted as the father that wasn't miles away from him. Could this one little thing be why SpongeBob is so enthusiastic and perfect at his job? I actually can not recall a single time in SpongeBob's career outside this episode where he freaked out about large vs. medium and them screwed up the order MORE. Usually, with Mr. K, he had that internal drive to do things right. Is it possible Plankton would be a horrible boss if he was a boss? Heck, who knows how different SpongeBob's life could be with just this one change. And now think about Squidward. Squidward seemed to absolutely despise SpongeBob to the point where he can not even work with him. Maybe this change can make SpongeBob MORE annoying. I love predicting stuff like this and I kind of wish that we could've seen their life with this change, and I think this would be a cool topic to discover. As for Mr. Krabs, he was definitely not the underwire of this episode. (really bad pun) His short appearence was a good one, and I wish HE was explored in more depth. No perverts not that way.As for this episodes humor, it pretty much was average, with a few gags here and there. Along with the lack of amazing humor, it was an episode with so much potential to become at least a double-length special. If the plot wasn't so deep and creative, it would have never made it to the list.

I honestly couldn't tell ya how my "The Algae's Always Greener" review was Ctrl+v'd, but okay :|
