I love SBM
Cha's Story
Before I start, I gotta say that this convention took a lot out of me in a good way, that I might not be too active in the following days because of it. The whole time I was there, I was making sure that SBM/SBC would get the best experience with all the pictures and videos I took while there. And it wasn't just me who was at that convention, say hello to my partner in sauceyness, Sauce Mama! *audience applause* She and I both are going to talk about our trip.
In the downtown part, there was the SpongeBob Toyota parked under a large screen of the commercial of how they made it. They also viewed the Square shorts in this later on in the day.
Before we went to the convention spot, we went to Cartooniversal and went over to the SpongeBob part of the store.

We start the official day off at 9 AM in the blistering 90 degree morning heat. (It was in the 100's all day after that until around 6). In the heart of the amusement park, there laid a place dedicated to the little yelled guy. Come check it out.

I was thinking of Clappy with this pineapple house above, because he saw a similar one on his trip this summer.

Oh you guys might be wondering about this sketchy avatar I have right now? Nope, it's not one of my own drawings. It's from one my favorite parts, when a drawing booth where each artist would draw a character for free for everyone. It was just the main characters, but I asked talented artist Ted S. if he could possibly change SpongeBob into a SpongeBuck. I showed him my little plush guy and even my Squidly poster, which he really did like. I told him my dream is to do what he's doing and he said that practice makes perfect on this job. He even signed my poster for me! I'll have to show the poster later though because they're a couple of things I didn't tell you guys about it yet but will soon....
There was also a little gallery inside with mostly the SB art we've been seeing lately already. There was also production art and of course It's A SpongeBob Christmas characters.
Of course there was the live script reading of Help Wanted. And guess who made a special appearance that's normally not in the episode? FELICITATIONS, MALEFACTORS FOR IT WAS THE ONE AND ONLY, MR. LAWERENCE!
There was also a fan trivia thing at 1 and 4, 1 being where I waved to Sauce from a couple seats ahead. See the person in the yellow and black top? THAT'S SAUCE AND HER FRIEND AND JAKE.
I know what you're thinking, no we didn't get a picture together. :P
Oh and at 6 PM (god bless) we had a super Spongey music DJ party waiting for the big Tom and Bill guys themselves to arrive and sing. They sang with the High Seas. Some of the songs were Where's Gary, Under My Rock, My Tighty Whiteys and etc. It was a total blast being there and seeing a lot of new character costumes like Pearl and Mrs. Puff!
Here's a part of Where's Gary.
So that's all folks! I hope you enjoyed.
Well I hoped you all enjoyed all of this as much as I enjoyed taking and recording this. I have a lot more pictures/vids I didn't share, so feel free to ask for more either in this thread or in a PM. Now y'all come back now ya hear?

I actually recorded almost all of the episode they did. If you want a link to it, PM me.

Okay, okay. I know what you're mostly here for. You might have heard me freak out yesterday and say I'M MEETING TOM KENNY AND EVERYONNNNNNEEEEE. Well I'm here to say that sadly I didn't afterall get to meet them and I was really disappointed. :(
HAH. Nah. This is how I was able to meet them. When we were about to go to the script reading of Help Wanted, one of the staff members pulled us aside and randomly put a group of people for a VIP session after the show. We were allowed to get autographs and briefly talk to them. It was nice because there we only 30 people or maybe even less that were in the line, so it went pretty quickly. When I met the gang, I knew exactly what to say...I told Tom Kenny about SpongeBob Universe and SBM ...except for the part where I accidentally said SpongeBob Mania instead of SpongeBuddy Mania. (Give me a break, my hands were shaking from meeting everyone :P). So yeah....ahem now time for that big secret I promised in the thread title....
TOM KENNY SAID HE HAS VISITED SBM BEFORE!!! HIS KID HAS SHOWED IT TO HIM. GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
What they signed:
A free colored poster only given to the VIP members.
My poster, also signed by Ted S.

Sauce's Story
Perfect! Here's what I have as well:
Bahaha it looks like I was bending down to get something in that pic. xD Couldn't have summed it up better myself, Cha.
I gotta say, this was probably one of the best days of my life. Not just saying that. I mean, being with my best friends, in the place I love, celebrating a certain Sponge I love? What could be better than that? Also, SAYING HI TO CHA WHILE SINGING ALONG TO STRIPED SWEATER? You can bet that it made my day even more. Cha, you rock.
Right when we entered the park, we saw these all over the place. And right then and there, I got super excited. I wish I could've taken this home :P However, I did get the poster that Cha got and now it is hanging in my room. I love it. Plus, it has some characters on it that I've never even seen before so we get a small peek of some characters to come.
The first thing we went to was the table reading at 10:30. Now these are the moments I wish I had an iPhone cuz my phone takes horrible pics, especially in the dark lol. But here was the stage:
And here's a small vid with the cast doing Help Wanted!

Such talented people. It was such a great opportunity to see what they do for their job in person. It was absolutely hilarious and I LOVED the surprise by Mr. Lawrence.
After going through some of the park and going on a couple rides, we then made our way to the stage area in the middle of the park. There, they were holding the Trivia contest which I so desperately wanted to be in but the lady didn't pick me lol. I went again at 4 and she still didn't hahaha but it was super fun. Here was the stage. Very yellow. *u*
I think the highlight of my whole experience besides seeing the cast, and meeting and saying hi to Cha, was MEETING MR. LAWRENCE. I shouted I WENT TO COLLEGE and he started laughing and said "Thank you for coming out today!" He was such a nice guy and I got his autograph. Here's a couple pictures:
All in all, such a great day. I wish I could do it all over again and I hope they have another celebration next year because I'M GOING. It was like I died and went to Spongebob heaven. As Cha said, hope you enjoyed what we had to share for you all! :)
