Personally, I can't wait. I think the plot is great. Plankton may have finally thought of a scheme evil enough to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula. As of today, only 225 more days.
You can watch the first trailer

Who's your favorite character?
For me, it was SpongeBob, then it was a tie between him and Gary. But now I like Patrick the most.

Everything he does and says is just so funny.

People always say Spongebob is 24, because his imaginary license states his DOB as "July 14, 1986". But going by that logic, wouldn't that actually make him 13 years old when the episode his license appeared in aired? And since they are non-ageing characters that would make him, well, thirteen.
On the other hand, he's a fictional sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea. What does it matter what his age is? Lol.
Soooo ... what's your theory on SB's age?

Spongebob Squarepants versus Patrick Star. Who do you think will win?
We’re not talking about boxing here. Or wrestling. Or mixed martial arts. What I want to figure out is who rocks it better on their respective Facebook pages.
We will be judging these two fictional undersea characters in three categories:
1. Number of “likes”
2. Photos
3. Discussion pages.
So without further ado, and without stopping to think where we’ll be if we go any further ado, here it is.
Round 1
Round 1 is all about the number of Facebook users who “like” their respective accounts, here are the results:
* Patrick Star - 2,286,337 Facebook “likes”
* Spongebob Squarepants - 6,936,187 Facebook “likes”
Clearly, the sponge has more “likes.” So Spongebob Squarepants definitely wins that round against Patrick Star.
Round 2
Round two asks, Who has more photos? Part of this round asks who has more albums. Then we go see who has more photos posted by others.
* Patrick Star - 4 photo albums, 27 photos by others
* Spongebob Squarepants - 3 photo albums, 201 photos by others
So while Patrick Star wins by a hair in terms of number of Facebook photo albums, Spongebob Squarepants is way ahead when we talk about Facebook photos posted by others.
Round 3
Now for round 3, whose discussion page is more active?
* Patrick Star - 94 topics
* Spongebob Squarepants - 201 topics
Here we can see that Spongebob Squarepants clearly has the lead. So in our Fantasy Facebook face-off between Spongebob and Patrick Star, Spongebob wins.
Incidentally, a website called Last Combat has already pitted the two marine beings before. It looks at how many times each character has been killed (Patrick Star’s 73 times versus Spongebob’s 59 times; unfortunately for Patrick Star, he wins this round) .
It also takes a look at how many times each has been burned, shot, hanged, drowned (like, how do you drown a sea sponge and a starfish?), blown up, beheaded and poisoned. See Last Combat between Patrick Star and Spongebob Squarepants.
In case you’ve been living underneath a corral and don’t know who Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star are, here are their profiles from every modern university professor’s scourge (Wikepedia):
Spongebob Squarepants
SpongeBob SquarePants is the protagonist of the popular Nickelodeon animated television series of the same name. He was designed by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, and is voiced by Tom Kenny. He is a naïve and goofy sea sponge who works as a fry cook in the fictional underwater town of Bikini Bottom.
Patrick Star
Patrick Star is a pink seastar who is SpongeBob's best friend. He lives under a rock and his most prominent character trait is his lack of intelligence, which differs from one episode to another. In some episodes, Patrick is deprived of even the most rudimentary common sense and knowledge, though occasionally he will have bursts of great intelligence, much to the confusion of everyone around him. Depicted as a negative influence on SpongeBob, he has encouraged dangerous and foolish activities that get the two into trouble. Patrick is a career journeyman who is usually unemployed throughout the course of the series, but holds various short-term jobs as the storyline of each episode requires.

Spongebob Squarepants episodes come jam-packed with hard-to-forget cute and comical sequences. The show is an ever erupting volcano of entertainment, especially for growing children. We have become habitual to coming across extremely bizarre yet funny stories, which instantly force us to role on the floor with mad fits of laughter. A large population of anime addicts regularly endeavors to watch Spongebob Squarepants online. If you are also a part of this exclusive crowd, then today you will grasp a useful description of a full-fledged entertainment website, ideal for catching Spongebob Squarepants episodes online.
The website I am pointing towards is not any second entertainment portal you come across while browsing the web. It is a super special fun zone, which is identified by only those who are well-aware of the features, which are inherent in a reliable entertainment portal. Let me give you a detailed description of aforesaid features one after the other.
The foremost requirement of anyone, who seeks online entertainment, would be guaranteed access to qualitatively top notch video and sound output. The vividness in picture display and clarity in sound output are the two attributes, which play a vital role in user satisfaction. Any inferiority with regards to aforesaid attributes will imply that an encounter with disappointment is on the cards. Therefore, for an entertainment portal to be worthy of being considered as a high-standard online facility, it must deliver high quality videos of Spongebob Squarepants episodes to the anime addicts.
Now, it is time to bring the downloading speed under the radar. The rate of data transfer determines whether a video will play continuously or it will tend to stop & play at irregular intervals. Without even an ounce of doubt, non-stop video play on the web requires a high speed data transfer. So to watch Spongebob Squarepants episodes without facing interruptions during video play, you must ensure that a website is guaranteeing a rapid downloading speed, otherwise again an encounter with disappointment is pretty likely.
With a few important features of a reliable entertainment portal already considered, now let us focus on the most important one. Although the feature I am talking about has no relevance with the episode quality or speed of video play, yet it is indispensable when it comes to having fun online in a safe and secure manner. What I imply to say is that an entertainment portal should be a safe service provider. It must clearly guarantee that its zone is fully free from any variety of net bugs. After all, who will love to invite an internet virus on grabbing an opportunity to watch Spongebob Squarepants online?
So, it is time to conclude the discussion right here. I am sure you would have grabbed a lot of knowledge on the basic features that an entertainment portal must possess to be considered as a reliable alterative to enjoy the highly-amusing Spongebob Squarepants episodes.

At 93, actor Ernest Borgnine is finding that his fanbase just keeps getting younger and younger.
The Oscar winner says he's a hit with the kids these days thanks to his role as Mermaid Man on the animated series SpongeBob Squarepants.
Borgnine says he made the discovery when he recently met a group of Girl Guides in Washington.
He says when he asked them if they had seen any of the 200-plus films he has been in, he got no response. But when he said he was Mermaid Man in SpongeBob, they went wild.
Borgnine visits Toronto this weekend for the 16th annual FanExpo Canada convention.
He is also busy promoting several films, including the upcoming Red with Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Richard Dreyfuss, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich.
In January, he'll also get a Screen Actors Guild lifetime achievement award. Borgnine won an Oscar in 1956 for Marty, and is best known to older viewers for his role in The Wild Bunch and TV's McHale's Navy.
Borgnine says some people have told him he's too old to keep working, but he never wants to quit because he loves acting.

"It's different from the usual cartoons and the bright colours that attract me," says Mfabe about the animated US kiddies' series.
Current Font Size:
"The fact that SpongeBob is square and a sponge is interesting," she says.
SpongeBob SquarePants is a humorous cartoon series that airs on DStv's Nickelodeon channel. It follows the adventures of the title character and his friends who live in the underwater city called Bikini Bottom.
Although it is for kids, I found that this show is also relevant for adults and appeals to them just as much as it does to children.

When I interviewed my friend Tim Toben of Greenbridge and Pickards Mountain Ecoinstitute, he suggested it was important that we all "tell the story about the transformation from a world powered by fossil fuels to a world powered by renewable energy -- in poetry, music, art, dance." That's easier said than done. But one young man has been doing just that—and the result is rather strange, but oddly compelling.
Apparently we are all on a plane watching Spongebob Squarepants.
This guy is clearly a member of, and an advocate for, the Transition Movement—the community-focused response to peak oil and climate change that has been sweeping the world. We are, he tells us, all locked into a plane that is heading for the ocean. Unfortunately, everybody—including the pilots—is too busy watching endless repeats of Spongebob Squarepants to notice.
Luckily, says our intrepid poet, a growing group of passengers has figured out that they can head to the back of the plane, and their weight will counterbalance the descent and ensure a smooth(er) landing. Apparently the food is much better back there too. And they have gardens. It all sounds very sensible to me. But someone might want to go talk to the pilots too...
